I am a hound mix and around 3-4 years old. I came into rescue as a stray, delivered by a state trooper and this is how I got my name. Unfortunately, I was starving and had gotten myself into trouble trying to catch a chicken dinner. The state trooper did some investigating to find my owner but instead found out I had been witnessed being dumped off and that person just droveaway. I am very friendly with people but I am not so good with birds or cats. I also get very "worked up" with little kids energy. So it's best I live with a family that doesn't have little ones always running around. Older kids are perfectly fine. The ideal home for me would be a home with a family that would enjoy walks, relaxing inside, a fenced yard and no other small animals. I do fine with most other dogs. I have just started to learn what toys are and enjoy human attention. I prefer to potty outside! I still have obedience training to learn but I'm eager to please. Please consider helping me learn what love and attention is by giving me a forever home. I have been neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, been on heart worm prevention, dewormed and flea treated. I also come with a full 6 week obedience training so we can learn together! My adoption fee is only $150. Please email hopeadoptme@gmail.com to request an application so you can meet me!
